Q. I just purchased a 2004 A6 quattro 3.0 with 59,600 miles on it. Im wondering if I should get a extended warranty, it seems to be running great and I have read that the 2004 yr is the best one in terms of reliability.

A. I wouldn't if I were you based on what you said about the car. Those warranties are complete garbage. Look at the fine print about what they will and will not coverage. Consumer Reports rated that vehicle to be very reliable. I have owned Audi's since the 80's and have had very little trouble with them. You have an awesome car. Wait until you drive it in the snow for the first time with the 4 wheel drive system. It will give you the biggest smile on your face. Hope you enjoy it!
