What is the standard emissions warranty for a 2004 Pontiac Sunbird ?
Q. A friend has a 2004 used Pontiac Sunbird with 31,000 miles. It failed the emissions test because of a bad o2 sensor. Would the o2 sensor be covered under a federal emissions warranty for up to 7 yrs or 70,000 miles and be replaced for free by the dealer ? Thanks.

A. the federal warranty is 8 yr 8000. i belive that only covers the pcm and converter. not o2 sensors

How much would it cost to change a 2004 Toyota Corolla's trasmission from automatic to manual?
Q. Just wondering a price, found an 2004 Toyota Corolla S for around $9k, but I'm going to negotiate. It has around 88 miles. The only down side is I want a manual and its an automatic, but its the cheapest I can find for a Corolla S model in my area (DFW 75248). Any idea on ballpark price ranges for transmission conversions?

A. Assuming you are using a used transmission...$1500 for the transmission, $2000 for new computer, $1500 for a new wiring harness, $2000 in labor... You are WAY better off getting a manual from the factory.

Q. I would love to be able to install day time running lights in a 2003 or 2004 Honda Accord that I am going to purchase. Is that possible? Thanks! This Accord will be staying in the United States, I like the looks of having daytime running lights on my car. With these kits that you have to install such as in Canada, what does it look like with an after factory install? Where can you position the DRL in the headlight?

A. go the canadian tire they sell an aftermarkt module for 24.99 and very to install you are prob getting a canadian inspection done right? at canadian tire they install it for 124.99 but do it your self
